Family Last Name Changed

Hi Ron,

I just got my US citizenship certificate through naturalization and changed the spelling of my last name and eliminated my middle name.

I have two kids less than 18 years of age. I need to change their family last name to match mine and eliminate their middle name.

How do I do that using N-600 since there is no section for changing name?
If I just get them a US passport, how do I change their last name and eliminate their middle name.

Thereafter, I need to change their name on their social security cards as well as school and other agencies.

I appreciate your help in this matter.

You can explain the name change when you apply for their US passports. In the alternative, you can do a judicial name change for them with your local superior court.
