Default U.S. citizenship for a foreign-born biological child living abroad II

    Hi
I have a US citizenship by birth , and i lived there till i was 5 years old ( my parents are NOT US Citizens )
From reading i understand that the only way for me to arrange for my Children to have US citizenship is via the CCA ,
And by them entering the US as under an imigrant VISA ( Green Card ) , then automaticly they can apply for a US Passport

For the time being we plan to continue and live abroad ( maybe in a year or 2 we may move to the US ) but i want to do it all before my kids turn 18

There is the issue of the residence in the US , is it mandatory in order to get the imigrant VISA or is it for the next stage in order to apply for the passport ?

Are these documents neccesary ,or i can just apply for the Immegrant Visa and it will be approuved

if it is needed DO i have to provide a bank account , housing documents etc ,

Will a letter with a Job offer from the US be sufficient for this process ?

    Thanks in advance

    Jon Jon

You must prove that you are a US citizen. You can do that with your US passport. In order for your children to get citizenship, they must first come to the US as lawful permanent residents. To do that, you need to file I-130 petitions for each of them and then have them go through the immigrant visa process.

Thank you very much for the answer , If i do not intend to Move to the U.S in the next year, will there be an issue for the Kids to get the immigrant visa , so they can enter,
if I have to prove residence ( or intended move ) what are the things that I have to provide ? : Job offer ? . Bank account ?

You should consult with an experienced immigration attorney to determine the best course of action.
