I had my N-400 interview last week, during which I requested a name change. I passed the language and history tests. The interview lasted only 10-15 minutes, as my case was quite straightforward -- no criminal records, etc. At the end of the interview, the IO checked the part about passing the tests and the part where it says a decision cannot yet be made. He specifically explained to me that he was only checking the "decision cannot yet be made" choice because I had to go through a judicial oath ceremony. He said to wait for an oath letter in the mail, which he said should come in less than a month.
After I got home, I looked at other options on the form and began to wonder why he didn't check "recommended for approval." Is this cause for concern?
