    Exclamation N-600 Denied w/pending CRI89 for Wife

My mother received her Citizenship Certificate of Naturalization on June 6, 2002. I was 19 at the time, however my Mother If I recall correctly sent In the application when I was still 17, I don't remember. I received my US Passport on July 16, 2002. I have traveled to my country and others since then, I have renewed my passport once because of "water damage" (don't ask me how), my current passport doesn't expire until 2015. My Green Card expired in 2006, didnt have to renew because "I thought having my US passport and all that I didn't need to". I sent in my N-600 Application on July, 2004. Now I receive a notice of Denial for such and that I should return my passport to the Department of State.

Here is the real Problem (I think!). I got married in March, 2005 abroad as a U.S Citizen, I currently have a 1 yr 4 month old daughter, and My wife has a pending CR189 to remove conditions of permanent residency. Does this mean I am ILLEGAL NOW since the letter says "YOU ARE NOT A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES", and will this affect my wife's Process of Green Card???? Am not even sure that with this our marriage is legal, and defenetely wouldn't want her and my daughter (who's got a U.S Birth Certificate) to be deported!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO DO!!

You may want to look at this thread:

From what I gather, if you have a US passport, the State Department has concluded that you are a US citizen. CIS is not the deciding agency, the State Department is. But don't take my word for it, I am a lay person.
    I am not a lawyer.
