No response From USCIS

I had my interview for my citizenship and the only thing that was missing was my tax returns. I was told to send those by mail and that I will be contacted later for the decision. I sent the copy of my tax returns and I waited. Nothing happened.

I took 4 different appointments to check on the status. The first response was the person who did the interview was a Temp so it will be given to a full time officer. In the other attempts, I was told that the file was lost and they did another interview with me and they asked me to re take the fingerprints as the date on the first time is soon expiring. I did take that and I waited for the answer but nothing happened.

I sent an inquiry to the Ombudsman office and someone contacted me saying that I will hear something shortly but this was 6 months ago.

My interview was in Nov 2005 and till now nothing has happened. Is there anything else that I can do:confused:

Call your Congressman or Senator and get them involved.
