I really hope to get some help on this.
December 2003 married to a US citizen.
in December 2004 I was charged with battery and the charges, in February 2005, were dismissed and Expunged through diversion (3 months of probation, 12 anger management classes and 24 hrs community service). I was done with All that in May 2005.
August 2005 Had a Adjustment of Statues interview, IO asked for certified court records, criminal history report and a Sponsor as I had none at that time, sent all the documents in October 2005 and received my permanent Residence card in February 2006.

As I thought I might be eligible for citizenship in Nov 2008, Reading all the related threads, I think I am not (which makes me really sad) since the bar is for 5 years.
I need to know if thats the case. I recall reading somewhere that the bar, if applying through 3 years marriage criteria, is 3 years. In other words the good moral character requirement is last 3 years not 5?

I really appreciate if you can clarify and direct me in the right direction. I would like to have a representation on my case, any good lawyer in my area I should contact?
