Hi ,

I am a French resident with a green card since 1999, that I obtained through marriage. I have been living in the US since then and I would like to apply to a US citizenship. Is this possible?

Also, I am separated from my wife for the last 6 years and we share the custody of our child in a very good way. mean that we never went to the court for anything we just separated on our own , but still married . Can I apply for US citizenship or would it complicate matters?

You may apply under the five year statute. That does not involve marriage to a US citizen and you appear otherwise eligible to apply this way.
