    Default Domestic Violence Case

I have a domestic violence (battery) case with in last 5 years and my interview is scheduled next month. The outcome was "With hheld adjudication" with probabtion + 26 week of anger management classes.

Q1: If I show up at the interview will immigration police book me and put me behind the bars? Will me case will 100% denied? Should I withdraw the case or should I just "Not Show at the interview"?

    Thanks.

It depends on the state, the specific language of the statute you were convicted under, and other unique facts. It may be a problem, but it most likely is not. Still, you need to have your case reviewed by an experienced professional before you proceed.

    Hi
I have the following question about a misdemeanor arrest which I had

What would be the impact of California PC 242/243(a) which is expunged and happened in March 2004 on my employment based I-485 application. I have completed all the terms and conditions of the court. I was given 52 weeks of anger management class and 3 yrs probation which ended in 2007.

Court sentenced me to the following charging me with PC 242/243(a)

    a) 52 weeks anger management classes
    b) $600 fine
    c) 3 yrs of probation( 2004 to 2007)

All of which I have completed and the case has been expunged as of last year ie Oct 2007.

So apart from I-485 , when I travel on advance parole will it be an issue at the port of entry? Can I be denied entry because of my criminal record?

Hope to hear from you soon.
