Traveling Question

Hi, I recently just went through the ceremony and became a US citizen. I currently have a British passport but have not yet applied for a US passport. How do I travel out of the county? I have a trip coming up in a week which I know I wont have time to apply for the US passport. Any suggestions? Should I bring a copy of my citizenship certification with me?

You will definitely need a US passport to re-enter the country. Go to the nearest US passport agency and ask for an expedited issuance.
