Someone who's PD is September 2009 will think the move to be aggressive specially since there has been no movement in the last few months. It all depends when someone PD is. :)

If we guys look at the Perm Stats From

    https://www.permchecker.com/11-01-2008/to/11-01-2009

PERM Stats for 11/01/2008 to 11/01/2009 (Only 6403 Certified For India)
    Country Total Certified Denied Withdrawn
    INDIA 14427 6403 981 1189

    https://www.permchecker.com/12-01-2009/to/11-01-2010

PERM Stats for 12/01/2009 to 11/01/2010 (Only 14872Certified For India)
    Country Total Certified Denied Withdrawn
    INDIA 31280 14872 2034 981

Please Note these include All the EB cases and if you look at the numbers from 12/01/2009 to 11/01/2010 large number of fillings from Dec of 2009 to Nov of 2011

So the dates should move to Nov 2009 will be quick thats what i feel (Agree to what Kamakazee says)

Will not be that simple but just an assumption ... as need to consider porting, twice filling one in EB2 and one in EB3 ...

They are also supposed to eliminate the double counting from porting. I guess this exercise should also happen when USCIS maintains accurate data.

Agree but for that to happen they have to atleast try to phase out from all the paper based to online based ..... God knows when will that happen then only the system will be more Transparent .....

Well they can start with hiring just few IT contractors. A DBA and a developer and a tester. I mean how hard would it be for them to create a database of 500k primaries (with approved I140) and flag people who are double dipping?

Have an EB1 manager actually manage a project for USCIS??? That would be a death wish... For both the manager and USCIS for different reasons. The EB1 guy has no clue about management and USCIS has no clue period. I would rather have the EB1 manager write the code for USCIS since that would be closer to the truth :)

Free service to USCIS?!?! Hell no!

BUT we can use one of our spouses's EAD to create a start up, create a solution and sell it to them for damn money! Right into their faces :D

It might be correct that double dipping may not be accurate. The only way they make existing system efficient is to outsource to some other agency, some functions they really need to outsource so they can focus on real issues.

If I look at the pending inventory from May 3 2012, the pending inventory for PD 1/1/2009-1/1/2010 is 13429 and the total number of approved PERMs for the same period is 6403.

Assuming every applicant uses 2.1 visas this 6403 translates to 13446

Does this mean that all the approved PERMs are EB2 and there were no EB3I applicants or does this confirm that pending inventory is cooked up ?

It means that the monkey picked the banana that had those numbers.
