I personally think DOS is being conservative with the EB3 Worldwide date. How can someone have a 15th July 2015 PD? Probably the demand from last year is high enough to not make this category current. It will be interesting to see if DOS makes this category current in the new fiscal year.

The forward movement is the result of spillover from EB3 WW.

So, why is EB3WW still not current?

With a 15 day backlog, it is effectively "current."

Is the EB3 demand going down because many ROW applicants are not getting H1B due to the lottery system ?

Could be. They may be weeded out because the Indian IT giants flood the quota with multiple applications. Small and mid-sized US companies like mine (not in IT and sponsor other nationalities on H1B) have stopped sponsoring H1Bs.

If what we think is true then we should see the ripple effect in EB2 as well.

Are there many ROWs applying in EB2? If not, the spillovers which EB2I gets now may not increase by much. EB2I already gets all the spillovers from EB2 Worldwide. Or are you talking about less people porting to EB2?

Numbers are not accurate any prediction made on this is just waste of time

    http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/..._I-485_Pending_Inventory_as_of_04-01-2015.pdf

    1. All the numbers appear to be just made up
    2. No clear method to say or predict right spill over numbers
    3. April 1st 2015 inventory is just making fool, how come people with EB2I June 2011 priority date that is never got current shows 3 people applied?

Unless they become transparent with the report it just hitting the dart with eyes closed

It is going down because everyone is applying under EB2 now. Eb2 is new EB3.

Numbers are going down because the monkey that controls what goes into the report picked that banana.

They could be people avoiding h1-b altogether and getting their GC filed while on OPT. Probably this number is less now , but more people will be encouraged to go this way due to the lottery system.

Anyone in STEM OPT chargeable to EB2WW has ample time to go straight to a green card and avoid the H1B process entirely. We have a number of clients doing this.

    To answer your question 3,
That inventory is showing all the pending applicants yet to process. That could be the applicants from EB2 China, Philippines or Mexico.

The EB3 quota is approximately 40,000, minus carve outs for single state limited applicants (China, India, Mexico, the Philippines) of about 2,000 each.

Its not just like that Indian consultancy firms flooding with multiple applications, IT firms prefer Indian candidates as they are struck in backlog and its advantage for them if they hire Indian employees then employees will work for them for very long term in non-immigrant status.
