    Hi Ron,

I was planning to go to India on Nov 14- 2015.

Now have taken visa appointment in India,
I may postpone my visit for week or 10 days but still travel India but may not be in New Delhi.

I am working with company B, petition valid upto may -2017, and stamped company A visa valid upto August 2016.

I was going for stamping of company B visa,
Although I know it's not necessary.

If I cancel my visa appointment now, will it be any issues in future , if I go for visa stamping for company B.

Would make any kind of wrong impression , that person taken visa interview date , now cancelling it, and traveling to India - USA on old employer visa.

I know I can travel on company A visa. AC21 visa portability.

I don't think you can do that. If you do not work for employer A, the H1B stamp is not for re-entry.

    I am not a lawyer

Actually, you may use your old visa in combination with your new approval notice as travel documents. Cancelling an appointment will not prejudice future applications.

Yes, I do not see any problems with canceling the appointment. As long as you have unexpired H1B stamp from previous company and approval notice I797 for new company you are good.

Actually you can, stamped visa is country specific not employer specific.

I am wondering to know that it works. Can some one clarify :

    1) I am having stamped Visa sponsored by Company A is valid for for end of 2017.
    2) Now I have changed my consulting firm to B. B applies for new petition and it has got approved for me.
    3) Can I go to India before 2017 and come back to USA with the Visa Stamping Done by Company A ( without getting stamped for company B )? Will immigration allow to enter in Port of Entry based upon previous company's Visa even if I am not associated with it anymore ?
