I am MAVNI's wife. I am with my husband in Germany. My husband has started my Greencard process in Germany and it's been almost 2mths where he is stationed right now. I entered USA as student Visa 4 yrs ago and my social security card says non authorized to work. I want to start work, but they says i need to be citizen not even green card gonna help me. Is there anyway i can start work?
I am confused what is the next step i need to get authorized to do work inside the base.
Another confusion to be able to do gevernment jobs i need to hav citizenship?

What did your husband file for your in Germany? Just the I-130? If you are in the U.S., you can file both his I-130 and your I-485 at the same time. When you do, you can request employment authorization as part of that filing.
