I would like to start a Floricultural business (as US is bug importer of cut flowers) but not in a large scale and investment is not $500K. Also I would like to dedicate myself to business because of the nature of the business and also it is my passion. I will definitely be hiring few employees but not to a level everything is managed by employees and I oversee it.

I am on H1-B, and I would like to quit my job. Is there a way USCIS allows me to start my dream project.

Contact immigration attorney -Greg Siskind. We have seen him and Fwd.US say many times that people on H1 can start companies and create jobs. May be he has a way to help you start business. Good luck.

I think you can start company on H1-B, but you can not cut your paystub out of it - can not work for your own business. You would need to hire people for that.
