This is the thread for speculation concerning the 3 pm announcement IV has told us is coming.
the report will have
no Revoke of I140 after one year.
the report will not have
Like I said in the other thread.......
I will be surprised if we see anything NEW and USEFUL in this so called report....
I think in addition to the report, there will be timing and mostly implementing by Fall as we know the 2016 Fiscal year starts at that time.
As its speculation - VB dates movement to file early AOS for certain long waiting
IV has also indicated significant date movement in VB, on what basis and how they have not shared but if they have said it so confidently then it surely has some chances
Good guess, as far as it goes. I'd add PERM reforms and AP on top of EAD. Also, there will be a lot of BS about entrepreneurs that will never get implemented.
This another one of IVs shenanigan. There will be no report at 3 PM.
if at all there is a report out today, it will be on L1 and OPT stuff, nothing for people affected by EB backlog.
is this for today ?
Is it date movement or QD implementation ?
Supposed to - like the 1.00 Press conference by President hasnt started yet- so never know
Qualifying date implementation doesn't really mean much in terms of cutoff date advances. It's a one time bump.
Big items do not get announced in small events but small things can make their way into big announcements as we saw last year.
Ok. So you think it is VB movement ?
This will probably be on USCIS website. I would be shocked if President makes the announcement.
Why would they make an announcement on VB movement after VB has been published and particularly since Charlie indicated that there would be no VB movement this year. If it is for next year why would they do it now and not in September ?
I don't think this will have any VB movement or any Rs. This report will just list minor fixes like I-140 EAD/AP, STEM OPT, PERM Premium, etc. And most of that stuff will need a regulatory process to be implemented. There will be a minor item which will be done via memo, and IV will claim victory.
Without early AOS which can only be possible with VB date movement?, that report is not useful - if its really coming out
Here is a note of caution from IV.
"We are only passing along information that we receive (and are authorized to share) from the WH - so, if it doesn't materialize (or materializes at a different time), please try to be understanding."
These are already in rule making, i dont see why they would need a report to say samethings without anything new added
