    Hello Experts

I have a weird situation which I have not heard and my initial google search also did not provide any results. I was with company A and they filed my PERM and I-140 and I got my Priority date as January 19, 2011 which in first place was wrong because I have heard Priority date will be the date the PERM was filed, but January 19th was the PERM approval date. I let it go because it was a month difference and even back then my employer said its OK. But now I am with company B and they filed my PERM and I-140 and the company B's I-140 shows May 27, 2011 which I think my company A's I-140 filling date.

So is it admin mistake by USCIS or some other issue. What is the procedure to claim my original Priority date (January 19, 2011).

Any suggestion from you experts is appreciated.

If you have a copy of the DOL approval notice for the PERM, it should show the actual date it was filed. Send a copy to the USCIS and ask them to straighten out the confusion.
