Yes, if TRO is in favor, judge can sign this otherwise it will be discarded.
I'm pretty sure we'll have outages today as the crowds move between one forum to other. We must have a twitter hashtag to keep the discussion going.
Can you paste it here?
#VisaGate2015 Litigation Update - Oct. 1, 2015 (Mehta v. DOS) https://lnkd.in/eCKqnzT
this thread just hit a century thanks to our VB Sachin (aka Greg)
Sorry locked out already.
Does it have anything important?
Well, apart from what we knew, It had the 2 lawyer's names. So looks like the 'enemy' is trying to fight it. However I don't know if the lawyers are assigned up for the TRO or the civil case. @cuckoo may have more surgical information. I am heading to work, see you guys online either here or on twitter
I think there are 3 lawyers that are informed about the TRO and their names are on the last page of TRO.
Standard Operating procedure. They have to have attorneys present, otherwise it will be defaulted to us. based on my understanding..@cuckoo please add
I mean from the defendant side.
Greg's at the courthouse..
Has there been any instance where USCIS has fought and won in a lawsuit against them?
Yea standard procedure I think. I was reading EMERGENCY MOTION FOR TRO yesterday and it says plaintiff counsel has to inform defendant counsel and that their info is on the last page. I saw 3 lawyers mentioned over there. Don't know if they are in Seatle at the moment or not .
I think USCIS / DHS has a base there. USCIS also has a field offce. so there will be lawyers and we are gonna see them in court today for good or bad.
Do courts open at 9 am PST in Seattle?
Moderator can we create a new thread ?
Anyone sending flowers to the court
