If you read the original press release it is very clear that the dates will reach July/Aug 2009 by September 2015, this should tell you when it is likely to touch July 2009.

When can we expect the Pending I-485 inventory for Jan 2015?

It doesn't matter. That data is grossly inaccurate and worthless.

According to the pending inventory, when the dates were advanced for EB2I in Dec 2011 total EB2 Pending was 24K but the dates were again advanced in Jan 2012 when the pending was actually 30K. If these numbers were correct, I have no idea why the dates were again moved for EB2I in Feb 2012.

Also in FY 2014 23K visas have been issued to EB2 I but there is 20K pending. I am sure this number is incorrect. it should be lesser than 20K as the pending in Oct 2013 was only 31K.

The problem lies in the conditional statement "if . . . " The data is not correct and you can drive yourself crazy trying to make sense of it. I'm convinced that the USCIS just makes up those numbers.
