Hi there, was wondering if you can answer the following.

On the form I got in the mail this week, Form N-659, (Naturalization Interview Document Check List). Under number 3.

What does... Proof of marital union as well as proof of residence... means?

What would work for both those things?

Myself, like everyone else here, truly appreciate your help on this board. THANKS!

That is a boilerplate document that is sent to many, if not most, naturalization applicants. The "proof of marital union" reference is to those who are applying under the 3 year statute (marriage to a US citizen). They want to see proof that you are actually married and have been living together during the last three years. The "proof of residence" reference is to the issues of continuous residence during the last five years and actual residence in the district where you filed during the 90 days prior to filing.
