Got a email today asking the attorney to submit Police clearance certificate and birth certificates. I was cc'ed since I added my email address. otherwise I would not have been communicated about it. I do not understand why the attorneys did not submit all the documents.

Can I scan and send it or do I have to wait for the attorney to do it.

Let your attorney do it. You can do it if you wish, but then you would need to discharge the attorney and take over yourself.

Thanks Ron. The attorneys are very slow to respond. It has already been 6 months since the fee bill was sent.

You need to have a talk with them and make sure that both sides have a clear understanding of what is needed and when. It may be that there is a good reason for the delay. If so, you need to understand what it is so that your stress level is reduced. If there isn't, they need to understand that you have reasonable expectations that they are not meeting. Either way, you need to speak with them to clear the air.

They took about 5 months to submit applications and the took another two weeks to submit the supporting docs. They did not submit the supporting documents until I escalated this issue to my employers immigration manager. They do not communicate even when they do they do not give any reason, they do not respond to emails, it is frustrating.

I have asked this question earlier and pardon me for asking again. When does NVC send out visa fee bill ? Is is still 6 months - 1 year before the PD goes current or there is no relation between them anymore ?

It varies, depending upon the country. Generally it is about six months before the NVC believes that your priority date will be current. That's not six months before the current cutoff date, but six months before the calendar date they expect you to be current. Sorry if I didn't make that clear earlier.

    Thanks for confirming it.

Is your office getting fee bill notice for EB2I PD later than May 1st 2010?

I'm going in on Monday for a complete physical. I'm more concerned that this is something related to my two years of Agent Orange exposure in Vietnam.

Long time back I watched a documentary on Agent Orange exposure and how it impacted a generation of children. Pretty scary. Do vets get special treatment for conditions related to their period in the military ?
