    Hi Ron,

I have a question on the filing date for the I-485.

My I-140 is approved and priority date in July 2010, when Can I file my I-485?
Do I need to wait till Oct 1st,2015 to file the I-485 or can I file before this?

    Thanks for your time.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the reply.
What is the latest date the I-485 can be filed based on the October 2015 visa bulletin?
What happens if the November 2015 bulletin is released in the 2nd week of October and the cut off dates go back to earlier than July 1st, 2011? will this prevent the October month filings?

    Thanks.

    Thanks Ron.
But Vivian used A# from my approved I140 on all other forms including (G325A,G28,I-131,I-485,I-765)

    Do I need to worry?
Not sure what is the significance of the A# on medical exam form.

Would there be a different A# entered ? and by whom?

    Seriously confused and worried.
    Thanks
    Jay

That is a tough question to answer. In theory the bulletin should hold good until Oct 31st. However, DoS can update the bulletin any time.

In theory, it should be valid through the end of October. In reality, they can change it at any time. If the USCIS feels that they are being swamped with applications, they can simply say that they will no longer use acceptance dates.
