    Ron,
In my last H1 extension with previous client my employer offer specified programmer analyst and the same title is on green card (PERM and I140) as well.

I changed client and my employer is filing an h1b amendment. I noticed he filed LCA as software application architect and offer letter also has the same title.

Would this be a problem for my green card while filing i485?

Not if the job duties are essentially the same.

Thank you! The duties listed have no difference. My current h1 is valid until august 2016. Does the employer have ability to request for extension along with amendment to avoid double filing?

Yes they do, but if they request an extension, and this is their second filing on your behalf, they will owe the ACWIA fee. If it is just an amendment, without an extension, they don't have to pay it.

Then do the extension. The fee is the same.
