    Hi Ron
    We have a kid born in September , H1b approved for my wife from october 1st ,but she did not work until this week since she has to take care of the child , her employer will fill I9 and everify this week since she will be on payroll fom this week , is it ok for the I9 delay? thanks!

    I don't know all of the facts, but based on what you have written, I don't see any problems.

    Thanks Ron! , I was worried that since H1b started on Oct 1st , but her I9 will be filled now (start date this week) since she just working after taking care of new born.what facts should i consider ?

    To the extent that anyone will have a problem, it is the employer, not your wife.
