Full Courseload for International Students Seeking Master's Degrees

    Provided that 9 credits hours is defined as a full courseload, can international students seeking "master's" degrees take only 6 graduate hours and 3 "undergraduate" hours in a semester (not the final semester) just to maintain status? If so, could you please point me to where I can find the SEVIS regulation pertaining to this issue? Your reply is greatly appreciated.
