I work as Application Engineer at a college. When i searched for SOC code it came up as 15-1034 and my job requirement says: bachelors required with 6 years exp or Masters required with 4 years experience. do i qualify for EB2?

i have Masters with 10 yrs experience.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am currently on EB3 with PD 2008. i switched jobs with the same employer. the new job is different from the previous one (technology and department). So i need to apply all over for EB2?

If you have not yet filed an I-485, you must maintain a good faith job offer for the position described in the PERM. If you can't do that, you will need a new PERM and I-140.

    Ron,
    appreciate your kind reply.

http://www.flcdatacenter.com to determine the prevailing wage should i be using "higher education" or "all industries"?

PS: since the job requirement is MS + 4 yrs i need to look at Level 4?

    thank you in advance

I don't know enough about the details of your job offer to be able to guide you with respect to specific steps.
