    Ron,

when you get a chance, can you pls respond.

    Here are my details below

    Masters graduation date :May 2014
    12 month opt start and end dates : 07/21/14 - 07/10/15
17 month opt ext start and end dates :07/11/15 - 12/10/16
current visa expiry date : 05/28/17
My last assignment ended in April and my H1-b got rejected.

I did not get a chance to file for the new OPT extension past the 12/10/16.

    My questions related to status

    * After the end of 17 month OPT expiration on 12/10/2016, will I get an extra 60 days legal time to stay in the US - irrespective of my employment status at that time?
    * If am employed, can i continue to work during those extra 60 days?
    * At that point, what are my options? To my knowledge, the only option is to join a university.
    * Is one allowed to work full time job on CPT ?
    * Can i apply for H1iB while working on CPT?

    Thanks in advance.
    Andy

You do get the 60 day extension of your departure date at the end of OPT. You may not work full time on CPT while school is in session.
