    Default Naturalization and DWI

Hi Ron, thank you for what you are doing. Here is my situation. I had citizenship exam a month ago. An immigration officer marked in a box “A decision cannot yet be made about your application”. I passed citizenship exam, and he requested Police/Arrest Records. In 2002 I had a reckless driving (paid fine). And after a couple months I filed N-400 I got DWI arrest. I paid all the fines, took successful IDIP program and already got my license back. I just worry that my application will be denied based on DWI. Because, during the interview I told officer that I had DWI after I filed N-400. However, I saw some of your answers that first DWI is not considered for denial (bad moral character).I was not in jail. But, are there any problems that can deny my application. Any suggestions?

Thank you and god bless you.

They can't deny your application on the basis of the DWI, so don't worry about it.
