Long time waiting for interview

Hi Ron
Our case is compeleted on May 18 2009 (EB2 ROW). NVC said that they will assined an interview date on second week of june for JULY interview at ANKARA US embassy. but they didn't and said It's full !!! they promised on second week of JULY they will assign a date for AUGUST.
we called 2 times from july 8 till now and they hadn't a logical answer for us and said "call back on friday" !!!!!
as far as we lives in IRAN it is so important to getting this date ASAP...
I want know: what should we do if they say there's no date for august?
can we get an ergent interview date?
this delay is related to place of embassy(ankara) or huge applicants in NVC?
PLZ, PLZ help me becasuse we are so frustinated in this way and they made huge mistakes on our case(2times) that caused 3 months delay..

I don't know what to tell you. You have unique facts and circumstances. Without knowing all of the facts in a case, I can't even begin to suggest a reason for something happening or not happening.

Finally after 5 months we got interview on Augest 20 in Ankara embassy.
we ported our case from EB3 to EB2 about 2 yrs ago (with same company)
I want to know is it necessery to withdrawing the old case before interview? if they ask about this matter what should we answer??
plz advise me
